UPM Raflatac has introduced the new PP Clear FTC Lite film, expanding its PP Lite labelling solutions portfolio for the European market.
Brand owners can use PP Lite label materials to differentiate themselves from the competition and optimise productivity across the value chain.
Products in the PP Lite range are a combination of a lighter face material, a lower coat-weight adhesive, a lighter backing and optimal use of raw material, as well as reduced greenhouse gas emissions, energy and water consumption.
UPM Raflatac global business development director Jan Hasselblatt said: “Our Label Life demonstrates that by replacing conventional PP label materials with our PP Lite solutions, brand owners can optimise raw material use and make sustainability gains through a lower environmental footprint.
“With the addition of PP Clear FTC Lite for achieving a no-label look, the range allows brands to take their packaging designs one step further while improving productivity and demonstrating their commitment to sustainable packaging.”
The new film PP Clear FTC Lite can be used as a multipurpose label material on rigid containers with smooth surfaces.
