US-based Advantis is scheduled to receive an N2Pack-built canning machine by the end of this month.
The new Amstercan packaging solution will enable the company to provide enhanced mobile canning services.
Last March, Advantis collaborated with N2Pack to develop a canning machine that would reduce production times.
The device was originally scheduled to be delivered in May, but was delayed so the machine could be upgraded to offer faster canning speeds and adjustable size options.
Following the delivery, the machine will commence production immediately to fill existing order requests.
Advantis CEO Christopher Swartz said: “While we will finally be able to keep up with the growing demand and triple Amstercan revenue, we are working with N2Pack to put a mobile service into action and develop additional canning capacity.

By GlobalData“There have been several potential clients that shared their reservations about transportation and security issues related to the canning process.
“If we can repurpose our existing machine for mobile use, we hope to resolve these concerns and add to our margin as a result of the escalated service level.”
In addition, the company is working with N2Pack to enhance the canning machine so that it can be used to package Amstercans at the customer’s selected location.
Swartz also noted the demand for Amstercan branding and packaging solution among premium cannabis proprietors.
He added: "We have several order requests that we will be immediately filling when we get the new machine. If N2Pack agrees, we also have several new clients ready to use a mobile service.
"We are positioned well to keep up with Amstercan demand this year."
