Finnish dairy products producer Valio has introduced its baby foods, protein drinks and creams in Tetra Pak’s Tetra Brik aseptic edge packages .
The products are produced on four Tetra Pak A3/CompactFlex filling machines, each of which has a production capacity of 9,000 packs per hour.
Baby foods are offered in new Tetra Brik 200ml and 250ml portion packs.
Valio beverage business unit vice president Tuomas Salusjärvi said that the new packs feature a sloping top that creates space for a larger cap, enabling smooth flow of the liquid.
"The package is really easy to pour or drink from, making it ideal for everyday use," Salusjärvi added.
Valio has the option to use either a straw or a HeliCap 23 closure.
