Finnish company Valmet is set to deliver three IQ Moisturiser systems to SCG Packaging’s Thailand-based subsidiaries Siam Kraft Industry and Thai Cane Paper Public.

SCG Packaging provides a wide range of products and services to meet every application requirement such as paper packaging, flexible packaging, food safety packaging, pre-print technology and an offset printing system.

Equipped with moisture cross-direction (CD) control system, the three moisturisers will be installed at PM6 and PM7 at Wangsala mill and PM11 at Prachinburi mill.

“We believe this latest solution will help us to improve the moisture profiles overall and increase the production.”

The new Valmet solution will enable the mills to improve the board quality on paper machines.

The IQ Moisturisers are part of the Valmet IQ product family that monitors and optimises process performance, as well as end-product quality.

The current order is built up on Valmet IQ Moisturisers’ successful installation at SCG Packaging’s other paper machines.
