By GlobalDataNine Dragons has also acquired steam and condensate systems for the two new lines and its previous board making lines.
Designed to produce high-quality testliner grades from 100% recycled raw materials, PM 41 and PM 42 are scheduled to start operating from late 2018 and early 2019 respectively.
The previous two production lines are expected to commence operations a few months apart, starting from mid-2018.
Valmet Paper Business Line president Jari Vähäpesola said: “The paper industry market in China is very active and our customers value sustainable and innovative paper and board-making technology.
“The high activity is well demonstrated by this Nine Dragons’ decision to purchase four-in-a-row energy and resource efficient containerboard machines within a very short time. Modern industrial design played an important role in this case, too.”
Under the new contract, Valmet is also required to deliver steam and condensate systems, pulpers for stock preparation, a board machine, a full-scope automation package, and process ventilation equipment.
Nine Dragons Industries has planned to use PM 41 and PM 42 to produce testliner grades with a weight range of 75g/m2-140g/m2.
Similar to the earlier order, the full-scope automation packages comprise Valmet DNA process and machine controls and condition monitoring.
Nine Dragons Paper Group along with its subsidiaries focuses on producing linerboard, high performance corrugating medium and coated duplex boards.
