Velcro Companies has launched a 100% recyclable hook-to-hook flexible package closure system with sealant layer for easier integration with flexible packaging and pouches.
Known as VELCRO Brand PRESS-LOK Advanced, the closure system comprises a sealant technology that offers cost-effective integration with flexible packaging and improves appearance.

Through the new system, the company intends to address the difficulties associated with re-closure of traditional closures used on larger flexible packages.
PRESS-LOK Advanced closure is equipped with the company’s hook-to-hook fastening solution, which offers a precise line-up for closing larger pouches with wide openings to ensure the integrity of the contents.

The closure’s ability to be heat-sealed to flexible packaging at lower temperatures ensures efficiency of the package converter and minimises the film impression marks.
As a result, flexible packaging and pouches will have a smoother top panel appearance and improved graphics.
PRESS-LOK Advanced closure is suitable for multiple product categories, including frozen foods, pet foods, fertiliser or soil.
