The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has inaugurated a new packaging centre at its Innovation Center in Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with Fresh on Table, an agritech platform.

The packaging centre is designed for assembling, packaging, storing, and distributing various food products.

The initiative strengthens the organisation’s commitment to training and employing people with disabilities, offering them permanent roles at the centre.

The centre’s operations encompass a wide range of food products, including fruits, vegetables, fish, poultry, dairy, honey, and other animal products.

The Fresh on Table’s platform’s mission is to enhance food security and reduce carbon footprints by keeping production and consumption sources in proximity.

Zayed Higher Organization’s secretary-general Abdullah Al Humaidan stated that the partnership with Fresh on Table enhances the modern and efficient marketing of the organisation’s food products.
