American Holt, a US-based supplier of aftermarket parts to the packaging and other industries, has acquired DMA Solution.

DMA Solution specialises in designing and manufacturing high-performance aftermarket replacement parts for the polyethylene terephthalate plastic container and beverage packaging sector.

The deal will create a single combined platform with American Holt and DMA to complement each other’s business.

The merged entity will provide aftermarket parts for users in the food and beverage industry seeking production machinery.

Combined platform CEO Cliff Gilbert said: "Stéphane, Alain and the DMA team have built a reputation for offering customers extremely high-ROI alternatives to traditional OEM parts - often with better quality, reliability and performance.

“American Holt and DMA are respected brands in the aftermarket parts space and together provide a compelling value proposition to food and beverage machinery end users as a foremost provider of high-quality parts.

"We are excited to continue expanding our portfolio of products and service capabilities to better serve our customers."

Following the acquisition, DMA founders and leaders Stéphane Dubois and Alain Mallette will continue to remain and guide their business in its next phase of growth.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Dubois and Mallette said: "We look forward to partnering with American Holt to accelerate future growth while continuing to support our customers with quality, consistency, and reliability."

American Holt, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, supplies high-quality aftermarket replacement parts for production and processing machinery.

The company serves the paper conversion, food and beverage, and material handling sectors, among other industries.

Understanding the role and impact of the metaverse in the packaging sector

Per GlobalData analysis, the South-East Asia construction industry in 2023 is dominated by Indonesia, though the country will see a slowdown compared to 2022 due to elevated building material prices, weak commercial property demand, high interest rates and a softening of external demand. The construction industry in the Philippines is estimated to register a AAGR of 7.2% between 2024 and 2027, supported by the government’s focus on the development of the country’s rail and road transport and energy infrastructure.
