Cosmetics company Lancôme has unveiled a new refillable bottle for its Idôle Eau de Parfum, incorporating Aptar Beauty's Classic INUNE fragrance pump.
The Classic INUNE pump boasts a polyoxymethylene-free cartridge and a design that is reportedly 10% lighter than the market average.
Aptar Beauty said it designed the pump to meet Lancôme's stringent requirements, ensuring its SNI 15 screw fixation complements Idôle's status.
Notably, the pump maintains the fragrance's olfactive integrity by preventing any contact between the perfume formula and the metal components of the dispenser.
The Classic INUNE pump is produced in Normandy, France.
Aptar Beauty Global Fragrance platform senior manager Sophie Magdelaine said: “This new launch is the result of a close partnership between the L’Oréal and Aptar teams.
“To meet the challenges of sustainability without compromising on the aesthetics of the Idôle Eau de Parfum bottle, Classic INUNE was a perfect match. It is stylish and discreet, and fits in perfectly with the sleek design of the bottle, even in its refillable version.
“It guarantees an optimal compatibility with the formula, meeting the high expectations of the world’s leading fragrance houses, such as Lancôme.”
The Classic INUNE pump is specifically engineered for perfume applications, delivering a refined and gentle spray experience.
According to Aptar Beauty, its slender design enhances the sensory pleasure of the fragrance while the anodised pump and collar, finished in Lancôme's signature rose gold, seamlessly integrate with the bottle's silhouette.
Last month, Aptar Beauty introduced what it described as the first fragrance pump on the market to include up to 67% mechanical post-consumer recycled resin plus material.
