Dispensing solution manufacturer Aptar Beauty has teamed up with SoPost, a digital sampling and distribution logistics company, to enhance the product sampling experience.
The collaboration merges Aptar Beauty's expertise in manufacturing and filling samples with SoPost's capabilities in developing digital campaigns and managing distribution logistics.
Aptar Beauty turnkey solutions marketing manager Saveria Guelfucci said: "Our partnership with SoPost brings real added value for our clients. As we work on brand projects upstream, we can ask them to anticipate their future marketing activation campaigns by recommending the right sample format depending on the right distribution channel.”
Memo Paris, a French luxury fragrance house, became the first client to benefit from the partnership, selecting Aptar Beauty's Imagin sampling solution alongside SoPost's digital and logistical expertise.
Imagin offers a full-service packaging solution with an extra-flat spray format, suitable for economic postal distribution and compatible with e-commerce requirements.
The collaboration with SoPost enabled Memo Paris to target the right customers, track their product discovery journey, and gather valuable data for their CRM database.
Memo International digital head Arthur Courtois-d’Auzac said: “We strive for each interaction with our brand to be enjoyable and memorable, and product sampling is a key point of contact in our brand experience.
“SoPost and Aptar not only cover the international sampling experience end-to-end, they also share our mission, which is why we chose to work with them. This partnership allowed us to target the right people and improve our customer experience, in a profitable and efficient manner, while minimising waste and maximising return on investment.”
Aptar Beauty has been offering a range of mini formats for various campaign requirements, including lightweight options such as Imagin to paper-based samplings such as iD SCENT, with different sizes and finishes.
SoPost, recently awarded Gold status by EcoVadis for sustainability, enhances the sampling process for brands, allowing for more effective distribution of fewer samples.
In June this year, Lancôme unveiled a new refillable bottle for its Idôle Eau de Parfum, incorporating Aptar Beauty’s Classic INUNE fragrance pump.
