Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America), an operating business of Ardagh Group, has established a partnership with Stevens Point Brewery to supply glass beer bottles.   

This deal connects Stevens Point Brewery to AGP-North America's glass manufacturing facility in Burlington, Wisconsin.  

It is part of Stevens Point Brewery's commitment to sourcing locally and integrating sustainable practices within its business operations. 

Stevens Point Brewery purchasing director Brian Elza said: "The Stevens Point Brewery distributes one point seven million cases annually of Point Craft Beer, Ciderboys Hard Cider, Whole Hog Beer and Point Gourmet Soda to over thirty states. 

"Of that, half of the volume is in glass bottles. Sourcing glass closer to home is more efficient from an energy-standpoint and supports our state economy. Put simply, this partnership aligns with our values." 

The localised partnership is anticipated to not only enhance the regional economy and communities in Wisconsin but also cuts down transportation distances, leading to reduced carbon footprint and emissions as well as lessening impact on air quality.

Ardagh Glass Packaging has been serving the craft beer industry, providing an extensive array of American-made glass beer bottles that are 100% and endlessly recycled. 

The company will exhibit its glass packaging solutions for craft brewers during the Craft Brewers Conference at the Venetian Convention & Expo Centre in Las Vegas from 22-24 April 2024 

In November last year, AGP-North America renewed its supply agreement with Oliver Winery, one of Indiana’s oldest and largest wineries.
