BradyIFS + Envoy Solutions acquires PFS Sales Company

The move is expected to broaden BradyIFS' reach in the Southeast of the US.

In a strategic move to reinforce its position in the Southeast of the US, distributor of janitorial/sanitation, foodservice disposables, and industrial packaging products BradyIFS + Envoy Solutions announced it has successfully acquired PFS Sales Company.

The acquisition of the distributor of disposable paper and plastic products marks a significant milestone for BradyIFS + Envoy Solutions, further solidifying its footprint in the Carolinas and the broader Southeast US region.

The companies did not disclose the terms of the transaction.

Established in 1988, PFS Sales specialises in distributing disposable paper and plastic products across the Carolinas. 

Strategic partnership for growth

Kenneth D Sweder, CEO and chair of BradyIFS + Envoy Solutions, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration.

"Adding PFS Sales to our team further strengthens our foodservice disposables and JanSan presence throughout the Carolinas and the Southeast. We are excited to partner with Jason and Crystal Mace and the outstanding team at PFS Sales.”

Jason Mace, general manager of PFS Sales, echoed the sentiment, emphasising that the partnership provides the necessary support to propel the business to the next level.

The partnership provides the support and resources required to continue our momentum and to take our business to the next level."

Further expansion

BradyIFS and Envoy Solutions announced the companies planned to merge in August 2023 and completed the merger in October that same year.

At the time, the companies highlighted that the combination of BradyIFS and Envoy Solutions would expand BradyIFS' reach into industrial packaging.

With the acquisition of PFS Sales, the company has broadened its reach in the Southeast of the US.

Global food packaging industry witnessing an uptick in demand for personalized packaging

In 2022, flexible packaging was the most used pack material, followed by rigid plastics. Dairy & soy food was the leading sector, while prepared meals sector is forecast to register the fastest growth during 2022–27, per GlobalData. Personalized packaging is becoming popular as consumers appreciate products tailored to their needs or preferences.

Non-Alcoholic Beverages Packaging Industry Dynamics

In 2022, the soft drinks sector held the largest non-alcoholic beverages packaging market share, while the hot drinks sector is forecasted to register the fastest growth during 2022–27. Rigid plastics are usually a preferred choice in the non-alcoholic beverages industry because of their portability, convenience, and lightweight nature that facilitate on-the-go consumption.
