Glass packaging company Croxsons and its customer Eden Mill Distillery have developed primary packaging for the launch of London Dry Gin, a premium version of Ramsay’s Gin.
Croxsons has leveraged bespoke, clear 70cl bottles, which contain 18% less glass than the industry standard.
The entirety of the bottle is embossed with the letter ‘R’ to signify Ramsay’s signature and features intricate lines to create the appearance of waves coming onto the shore.
Inspired by a chef’s love for fishing, each line weaves into a small fishtail at the base of the bottle.
In addition, the bottle features a small label on the front and back panels with a Croxsons Glass Packaging Institute stopper.
Eden launched Ramsay’s Gin in collaboration with renowned British chef Gordon Ramsay.
Eden marketing director Matthew Turner said: “From the outset, Croxsons stood out to us as a great partner for this project due to the company’s sustainable ethos and trusted reputation.
“The process from start to finish was exceedingly smooth with Croxsons. They were on-hand to help with design and any production queries, and we can’t thank them enough. Since launch, we have received comments on the distinct and modern nature of the Ramsay’s Gin bottle.”
The announcement comes shortly after Croxsons moved into its new modern premises in Sutton, London, UK.
