The Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group has reached a land lease agreement with Gulf Printing & Packaging (GPP) to facilitate the expansion of the latter’s facilities in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The addition of over 45,000m² increases GPP's total area in KEZAD to more than 67,000m².
Details regarding when this expansion work will begin are yet to be announced.
This marks GPP’s second expansion since 2021 and will increase its size by three times within KEZAD Al Ma’mourah.
KEZAD Group CEO Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed said: “Growth and expansion in business support services is a clear indication of the health of an economy.
“We are proud to host Gulf Printing & Packaging, the unique and largest facility of its kind in our food ecosystem to help cater to the needs of our client within KEZAD.”
GPP is a printing and packaging company established in Abu Dhabi in January 2018.
GPP's facility is claimed to be the Emirate's largest food-grade packaging manufacturing facility.
GPP CFO Emad Mohamed said: “One of Gulf Printing & Packaging’s competitive advantage is its physical location in Abu Dhabi and specifically KEZAD.
“As the number of companies establishing themselves within the community grows so does the potential synergies of business relationships. We consider our existing and new clients within KEZAD as our neighbours, in which we are all part of the larger community.”
