KYSU, Canada-headquartered online packaged food seller, has introduced new packaging made entirely from recycled materials for its entire product range.

This move positions KYSU as one of the few companies to offer environmentally friendly containers for over 80 different products.

The new airtight, recyclable, and reusable paper packaging address the pressing issue of plastic pollution in the US.

KYSU CEO Kyrill Leutsch said: “At KYSU, we believe that sustainability is not just a buzzword but a responsibility. We recognized a glaring inconsistency in the organic food industry—products marketed as earth-friendly often come packaged in materials that harm the environment.

“This contradiction compelled us to take decisive action. By extending our commitment to sustainable packaging across our entire product line, we aim to provide an eco-friendly alternative that empowers consumers to actively participate in reducing plastic waste.”

KYSU's packaging is designed not only to preserve product freshness and quality but also to encourage creative reuse before recycling.

The sturdy construction of these containers makes them suitable for a variety of uses beyond their initial purpose.

Consumers can repurpose the packaging as pen holders, planters, craft supply organizers, or gift containers, thereby extending the lifecycle of the packaging and promoting a culture of sustainability.

KYSU public relations manager Susie Wang said: “Our packaging is designed to be more than just a container. It’s a versatile tool that consumers can repurpose in countless ways. By reusing the packaging, customers contribute to waste reduction and promote environmental responsibility in their daily lives. Every small action contributes to a larger impact, and together, we can make a significant difference.”

KYSU has also taken a comprehensive and pioneering approach by eliminating all plastic pouch packaging from its product line, replacing it with airtight paper cans made from one hundred percent recycled materials.

This comes in response to the rising public awareness and demand for sustainable alternatives.
