Lunchskins, a woman-led and sustainable certified B Corporation, has introduced its new recyclable Lunch SAC line at Target stores across the US.
This launch is in response to the growing trend among consumers across the US seeking alternatives to single-use plastic.
The Lunchskins Paper Lunch SAC line is made from recyclable Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified paper.
These recyclable brown sacs are claimed to be suitable for storing lunches and snacks.
Besides offering durability and a sustainable alternative to traditional lunch packaging, these flat-bottom bags are said to be both roomy and convenient.
It is claimed to amplify and refresh the age-old brown lunch bag.
The launch of the new line aligns with Target’s commitment to provide sustainable products with value.
In a press statement, Lunchskins said: "We know that home-packed lunches are on the rise both in schools and outside the home. Our collaboration with Target will support a movement making 'brown bag lunches' cool and fun with a modern twist!"
Lunchskins aims to eliminate single-use plastic pollution and donates proceeds from every order to its non-profit mission partners.
So far, the company's products have replaced 3.2 billion plastic bags.
Its products are manufactured by a woman-led business, 3Greenmoms, which also designs, markets, and distributes the sustainable brand.
