Indian packaging company Miracle Group has invested in three folder gluers from carton converting equipment manufacturer DGM India.
The company acquired the TechnoFold 1100FC, SmartFold 1100PC, and SmartFlute X 1450 automatic folder gluers, Packaging South Asia reported.
Miracle managing director Hemendra Agarwal said: “We are already strong in the corrugated and folding carton segment and continuing to enhance infrastructure and add capacity. Our recent acquisitions will help expand our market presence.
“The inclusion of machines from DMG is one such investment that has proved to be beneficial.”
The addition of the new machines comes after Miracle acquired two other Indian companies, Sattik Packaging and Shivalik Container, earlier in April this year.
Based in Iswaripur in the north of Kolkata, Sattik manufactures cartons, with expertise in corrugated boxes, mono cartons, and rigid packaging solutions.
Meanwhile, Shivalik is a manufacturer of corrugated packaging, located in Khairi in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
These acquisitions will enable the company to expand its product range and strengthen its position in the Indian packaging market.
Miracle operates plants in various domestic states, including Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Punjab.
Specifically, the company operates five plants in Jaipur within Rajasthan.
Miracle specialises in producing flexible packaging and pouches, corrugated boxes, mono cartons, labels, and advertising material.
According to its website, the company has more than 1,500 employees.
