Orlandi, a US-headquartered packaging and sampling solutions provider, has introduced EcoPro Paper-Wrap, its new eco-friendly packaging material.
EcoPro Paper-Wrap is recyclable, high-barrier, coated, and heat-sealable.
The material provides a barrier against water vapour, oxygen, and grease, which is essential for maintaining the freshness and cleanliness of packaged products.
EcoPro Paper-Wrap is said to be suitable for wrapping most hard-good products that are flow-wrapped in plastic films currently.
It can be applied to e-commerce, shelf display, POP arrangements, and peg-rack retail.
Launched in response to the growing demand for eco-friendly packaging, EcoPro Paper-Wrap can replace traditional plastic film or foil pouches, doboys, and packets/sachets.
It also improves cost efficiency compared to folding cartons.
Orlandi president and CEO Sven Dobler said: "Orlandi is proud to introduce EcoPro, a product that not only meets the demands of our environmentally conscious consumers but also provides superior performance and cost-effectiveness.
"With EcoPro, we are continuing our legacy of innovation and sustainability while offering our clients progressive packaging solutions."
EcoPro Paper-Wrap reportedly boasts exceptional printing capabilities, allowing brands to maintain their visual identity with high-end, full graphic content on the packaging.
This feature is particularly important for brands looking to transition to eco-friendly packaging without losing their brand appeal.
The introduction of EcoPro Paper-Wrap is in line with the company's commitment towards improving sustainability within the packaging industry.
Orlandi supplies fragrance and cosmetic sampling solutions to the beauty and consumer products sector.
With operational facilities and laboratories in the US, France, and Brazil, the company also provides contract packaging, design, filling, and other services.
