PAC Machinery, a packaging equipment manufacturer, is set to launch its flexible, sustainable bagging technologies at the upcoming ProMat show, held at McCormick Place in Chicago, US, from 17 to 20 March 2025.

The company noted that its new baggers are designed to support eco-conscious materials, including paper and polymers made from recycled content.

The company's latest offerings include the Rollbag R985 Tabletop automatic poly bagger, which is claimed to be the first compact, tabletop auto bagger capable of handling both paper and poly materials for sustainable bagging.

Additionally, PAC Machinery will showcase its larger dual-material bagger, the Rollbag R3200 Fulfillment paper auto bagger, which was introduced in the fourth quarter of 2024. This product is suitable for packaging larger items.

The company noted that the R3200 Fulfillment paper auto bagger is available in two sizes: the standard R3200 version accommodates bags up to 16in wide while the R3200XL version can handle bags up to 22in wide.

These solutions are compatible with PAC Machinery's sustainable poly bags, which can contain up to 100% recycled resins, and Fiberflex kerbside-recyclable paper packaging, offering a plastic-free material solution.

Furthermore, the automatic poly bagger can operate with three different types of material, enhancing cost savings and versatility in sustainable packaging options, the company said.

Meanwhile, the all-electric Rollbag R785 automatic bagger features an advanced printer that eliminates the need for labels by printing shipping information directly onto poly mailers.

This bagger reportedly operates significantly faster than manual packaging, making it ideal for various industries.

PAC Machinery will also unveil its R3200XL Fulfillment advanced auto bagger, which includes an integrated label printer applicator for batch-less order fulfilment.

This machinery can handle bags up to 22in wide and 36in long, with a seal bar opening of up to 11in, making it PAC's largest automatic bagger.

The solution can also utilise PAC's poly tubing to customise bag length, thereby reducing material waste and costs.
