PAC Worldwide, a customised packaging and contract packing solutions provider, has released its new Polyjacket mailers, which are made with 100% recycled content.
The product is available in two forms: 100% post-consumer resin and 100% post-industrial recycled.
The new Polyjacket mailers were unveiled at PACK EXPO in Chicago, US, and are designed to meet the environmental objectives of major leading sustainable brands.
They maintain the same strength and quality as standard polymailers offered by PAC Worldwide, with additional features such as custom printing and a dual 'peel-n-seal' closure.
These fully recyclable mailers represent the latest addition to PAC’s portfolio of sustainable poly products, which includes options ranging from 50% to 100% recycled content.
The company also offers the Airjacket bubble mailer and WicketPAC wicketed polymailers with 50% recycled content.
Complementing this range are PAC’s paper mailer products, offering shippers an even broader selection of environmentally responsible packaging solutions.
This includes the Ecojacket Flex, a patent-pending kerbside-recyclable padded paper mailer that received an 'Optimally Recyclable' rating from How2Recycle, and the newly released Ecojacket Max.
PAC Worldwide president Thomas Parenteau said:: “There is more than one way to think about - and build - a more sustainable future for our planet. These innovative products demonstrate PAC’s pledge to make all our industry-leading flexible packaging recyclable, reusable, or compostable by 2025. I’m proud to say we are well on our way.”
In July this year, PAC Worldwide earned a sustainability endorsement from SCS Global Services for recycled content in its polymailers.
