PakTech, a provider of secondary packaging solutions, has announced the launch of its new TwinKlip Applicator.
Designed to streamline production processes for a variety of products, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, the TwinKlip Applicator offers precise and consistent application of PakTech's TwinKlip Handles.
A single-file conveyor system feeds loose bottles into the machine, where they are automatically equipped with a TwinKlip Handle per pair.
The TwinKlip Applicator is capable of processing up to 12 bottles per batch at a rate of ten cycles per minute, with a 15% overspeed capability for short bursts, significantly enhancing efficiency and reducing labour costs.
One of the standout features of the TwinKlip Applicator is its versatility.
PakTech said it can easily accommodate multiple different products on the same machine without sacrificing speed.
Colour-coded change parts are quickly and easily switched out, and each has its own preprogrammed recipe, minimising downtime during product changeovers.
Additionally, the loading tools double as Klip magazines, extending the runtime between reloads.
Stephen Snider, application engineer at PakTech, emphasised the benefits of the TwinKlip Applicator: "This automated equipment can free up staff for more creative and value-added tasks. Its compact size and energy efficiency make it suitable for any packaging line."
The TwinKlip Applicator is fully adjustable to accommodate various products, features full machine guarding for operator safety, and includes a colour LED lightbar for clear machine status indication.
A user-friendly touchscreen human-machine interface allows for easy operation, troubleshooting, and recipe selection.
The machine is constructed with durable stainless steel and anodised aluminium components and offers a bypass mode for bottles without Klip Handles.
Additionally, it is equipped with washdown-rated components for easy cleaning and maintenance.
The TwinKlip Applicator represents a significant advancement in packaging automation, offering businesses a more efficient and cost-effective solution for secondary packaging applications.
