PulPac, a dry-moulded fibre (DMF) technology developer, has announced a partnership with Seaman Paper, an eco-friendly speciality paper and packaging solutions manufacturer, to explore possibilities in personalised packaging.
The collaboration aims to offer customised DMF packaging options with coloured and patterned barrier crepe paper.
Using the combined capabilities of Seaman's expertise in barrier crepe paper production and PulPac’s DMF process, customers will potentially have a broad spectrum of personalisation options to improve their packaging designs and functionality.
The flexible nature of the barrier crepe paper presents numerous opportunities for creating personalised packaging solutions that can improve decor, colour, and functionality.
PulPac COO Viktor Börjesson said: “We are thrilled to welcome Seaman Paper to PulPac’s partner network. Their global presence and diverse capabilities make them an ideal partner for our customers.
“By combining our expertise in dry-moulded fibre, barriers, different substrates, prints, and colours through crepe paper, we can offer brands tailor-made packaging solutions that stand out while reducing their environmental footprint.”
Seaman global product development VP Bernd Firmbach said: “We are excited to collaborate with PulPac to explore the potential of crepe paper in sustainable packaging solutions.
“Our partnership represents a significant opportunity to innovate and provide customers with unique packaging solutions that meet their evolving needs for tailored graphic design and barrier functionality while minimising environmental impact.”
Recently, PulPac entered a collaboration with Danish premium confectionery brand LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW to develop eco-friendly packaging alternatives.
