Global packaging provider Ranpak has introduced two of its eco-friendly packaging solutions in North America, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.
These paper-based products, namely climaliner Plus and naturemailer padded mailers, are designed to be 100% kerbside recyclable.
A part of Ranpak’s RecyCold portfolio, the climaliner Plus liners are designed to offer up to 72 hours of thermal protection and are considered safe for secondary food contact.
These papers together provide a sustainable option for food, beverage, and healthcare companies to transport temperature-sensitive goods.
Furthermore, the climaliner Plus liners can be recycled easily without the need for special facilities. The liners offer custom printing for private labels, enhancing branding opportunities.
Meanwhile, Ranpak's naturemailers use honeycomb paper material for protection. Its design features a self-sealing adhesive and pull-tab tear strip to simplify the packing and opening processes.
Intended to boost productivity and cost savings for businesses across various industries, the mailers are available in varying sizes and with four two-sided custom printing options.
Ranpak's new packaging solutions are also in alignment with this year’s Earth Day theme, 'Planet versus Plastics'.
In a LinkedIn post, Ranpak CEO and chair Omar Asali said: “At Ranpak every day is Earth Day. We’re helping businesses rethink packaging and logistics because what’s good for business should also be good for the planet.”
Earlier this month, Ranpak introduced the Geami MV wrapping system, a compact, powered converter designed to enhance productivity and simplicity.
