Ranpak, a sustainable paper-based packaging solutions provider, has developed a new solution, Cut’it! EVO Multi-Lid, to address the demand for flexible box branding.

This system allows up to four different branded lids to be applied using a single Cut'it! EVO machine.

The Cut'it! EVO solution automatically adjusts carton sizes to their fill level and secures lids with glue.

It offers a return on investment (ROI) by enabling labour savings, end-of-line flow optimisation, an improved unboxing experience, shipping cost reductions, less material usage, and superior stock management.

Ranpak's Cut'it! EVO Multi-Lid solution is a response to the need for flexible box branding, allowing a single packaging line to efficiently cater to various customers, optimising space and preparing businesses for future demands.

Additionally, the solution enhances the customer’s unboxing experience with easy-to-open boxes featuring a tear-off strip.

The aesthetically pleasing and sturdy boxes are also tamper-evident due to the glued lids, which helps reduce shipping damage and product returns.

Ranpak Automation global managing director Bryan Boatner said: “As market dynamics shift, the evolution of Cut'it! EVO Multi-Lid stands at the forefront, redefining the future of packaging and offering unrivalled ROI that extends far beyond labour savings. It truly offers customers the ability to transform their end-of-line supply chain operation.”

The company is set to showcase its automated end-of-line packaging solutions at MODEX 2024, taking place from 11-14 March at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, US.
