UK-based prepress, flexographic plate manufacturer Reproflex3 has extended its strategic partnership with XSYS, a German-based flexographic plates and systems providing company.

As part of the new agreement, XSYS will provide and install its flexographic plate manufacturing systems at Reproflex3’s Middle East and Africa location in Dubai as well as its India and Asia site in Mumbai.

This will further allow Reproflex3 to continue the expansion of its platemaking business, globally.

Reproflex3 CEO Andrew Hewitson said: “We have been running extensive print tests with the new XSYS polymers and some of our unique screening technologies here in the UK. Our clients are delighted with the results, making the new global deal with XSYS a natural step. We are excited to introduce the new imaging technology and polymer plates into our facilities during Q3.

“XSYS is a great business with solid direction. We have been working together for more than 25 years since we started our first plate making operation.

"We look forward to continuing to work together in partnership, providing industry-leading products and services to our customers and creating a win-win relationship.”

The main objective of this collaboration is to expand Reproflex3’s existing capabilities to the global flexographic print market.

XSYS Global UK & Ireland sales manager Leigh Williamson said: “We have had a long and successful relationship with Reproflex3 for many years and are delighted to extend our strategic partnership with such a well-regarded organisation.

“Reproflex3 has been one of our most reliable and consistent partners whose input and experience over the years has been invaluable.”

Recently, Reproflex3 announced a new collaboration with BoxWay Packaging Group.

This effort aimed to support BoxWay’s transition into a ‘premier’ company in the corrugated packaging sector.
