Sabert Corporation, a global food packaging solutions provider, has launched its new containers for the food takeout and delivery market.

Known as Twist & Crispy, these containers are engineered to keep fried foods hot and crispy for longer periods, addressing a common issue in the market.

The Twist & Crispy range features a dual-locking lid that can be adjusted for ventilation, allowing food to remain crispy for more than 40 minutes.

The lid’s seal-locking configuration prevents spills, making it suitable for saucier dishes.

The container switches between the two settings, with a simple twist, offering versatility to food operators.

The containers' design includes a textured base for better crisping and corner ribbing for increased stacking strength.

They are also safe for microwaves and heat lamps, withstanding temperatures of up to 220°F.

Manufactured in the US, the containers come in various sizes to suit different menu items.

Tentamus North America’s independent lab tests confirmed that Twist & Crispy containers outperform competitors by keeping food hot and crispy 20% longer.

Sabert Marketing and New Product Development vice-president Stephny Halstead said: "Twist & Crispy solves a major problem in takeout and delivery - soggy fried foods that were crispy when they left the kitchen.

"Our new product design and innovation teams went above and beyond to not only solve the food quality challenge but to develop a product that could do even more.

“By consolidating vented and non-vented containers into one versatile solution, Twist & Crispy containers can keep menu items crispy or spillproof while streamlining back-of-house operations and inventory."

Last month, Sabert rolled out a new range of food containers designed to reduce food waste and improve storage efficiency.
