China-based dairy company Ningbo Milk has selected SIG's MiniGable small carton packaging for its chilled dairy products.  

The partnership comes as the Ningbo Education Bureau advocates for chilled products in the country's school milk sector.  

Ningbo Milk and SIG identified a suitable small-sized carton to introduce chilled dairy offerings to children.  

SIG's MiniGable 100ml carton is being used to pack two of Ningbo Milk's chilled products: one considered daily milk, and the other a probiotic/lactic acid bacteria beverage.  

These products are being distributed in local nurseries, primary, and secondary schools, as well as through Ningbo Milk's home delivery service. 

Ningbo Milk general manager Zhang Yinkang said: "The market for chilled dairy products has grown rapidly in China, with consumers showing a great interest in fresh products and healthy nutrition.

Ningbo Milk focuses primarily on chilled dairy products and makes 75% of its range available in gable-top packs, exclusively using SIG solutions. 

This strategic move is anticipated to open new business avenues and further cement the growing relationship between SIG and Ningbo Milk.
