Buyout company Tide Rock has completed the acquisition of US-based full-service contract packaging company Premier Packaging.
The financial details and terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
Following the acquisition, Tide Rock said that it has appointed Ignacio Campos as CEO of Premier Packaging.
Campos previously served as KIK Consumer Products Pool Division president and helped the company successfully expand market penetration across multiple channels.
Campos also served as vice-president of Digital Transformation and Strategy at Fortune Brands Innovations, general manager at The Master Lock Company, as well as working as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Premier Packaging, which was founded in 1997, specialises in providing quality services to meet specialised, time-sensitive, and short-run packaging needs.
The company also provides a broad array of custom supply chain solutions, including primary and secondary packaging, assembly, kitting, sorting, and labelling, along with some other value-added warehousing services.
Tide Rock president Brooks Kincaid said: “Premier Packaging has earned a strong reputation with its customers. Their capacity to solve packaging and warehousing problems quickly and flexibly makes them an essential partner in today's dynamic consumer goods supply chains.
“Ignacio's expertise in growing and scaling multichannel consumer goods and durables businesses, along with Bill's [McNeil, Premier Packaging president] deep expertise in the contract packaging space, will be instrumental in taking Premier Packaging to the next level.
"We look forward to working with Premier Packaging to add complementary service offerings, grow with its existing customers, and bring its services to new customers.”
