Global packaging company TricorBraun has entered into an agreement with AFA Dispensing Group to become the preferred distributor for AFA's innovative Flairosol spray technology dispensing device in the US and Canada.

This move is part of TricorBraun's ongoing focus on expanding its sustainable packaging offerings. The Flairosol device is designed as a propellant-free, non-pressurised system with the unique feature of being rechargeable and reusable.

Flairosol says it aims to revolutionise the packaging industry by providing a more sustainable alternative to traditional aerosol packages. Unlike aerosols, it does not rely on propellants or pressurised systems. Instead, it's a non-pressurised, rechargeable device that can be reused.

This design makes Flairosol an environmentally friendly and healthy choice for consumers. Additionally, it eliminates supply chain restrictions and complexities associated with traditional aerosol packaging.

Versatile usage in multiple segments

Under this agreement, TricorBraun will distribute the Flairosol device to customers in various segments, including personal care and beauty, nutraceuticals, home and fabric care, animal and pet care and automotive.

This partnership enables TricorBraun to expand its range of sustainable packaging options, offering customers an innovative and eco-friendly choice in packaging solutions.

TricorBraun chief operations officer Mark O’Bryan expressed the company's focus on sustainability and the importance of providing customers with innovative packaging options.

O'Bryan stated: "Our Flairosol agreement is another example of our efforts to provide our customers with a vast array of innovative, sustainable packaging options across substrates. We are thrilled to partner with AFA Dispensing Group."

Flairosol's environmental benefits

Flairosol's propellant-free design not only makes it sustainable but also reduces environmental, health and safety concerns. The device boasts a liquid evacuation rate of more than 98%, ensuring minimal product waste.

Furthermore, the Flairosol spray head is easily removable and reusable, reducing overall waste. Its larger head-style device offers a continuous spray effect, producing a fine mist, ultra mist, or foaming spray pattern.

The smaller-head design is tailored for personal care and on-the-go use. Flairosol combines sustainability, high performance and convenience with premium quality and an innovative design.

Understanding the role and impact of the metaverse in the packaging sector

Per GlobalData analysis, the South-East Asia construction industry in 2023 is dominated by Indonesia, though the country will see a slowdown compared to 2022 due to elevated building material prices, weak commercial property demand, high interest rates and a softening of external demand. The construction industry in the Philippines is estimated to register a AAGR of 7.2% between 2024 and 2027, supported by the government’s focus on the development of the country’s rail and road transport and energy infrastructure.
