Global self-adhesive paper and film products provider UPM Raflatac has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with Mark Andy, a narrow web printing equipment manufacturer.
The partnership, renewed for the fifth consecutive year, will focus on delivering sustainable label printing solutions to the global market.
It combines UPM's portfolio of sustainable label products with Andy's expertise in advanced printing technologies.
UPM's range of label products is designed to be compatible with Andy's conventional, digital, as well as hybrid printing presses.
These presses include flexographic, dry toner, UV inkjet, and other hybrid models, each offering different benefits in terms of flexibility, cost-efficiency, and performance to address customers’ specific requirements.
UPM's label materials are also featured at Andy's demo centres, where the materials are used for showcasing the potential and advantages of Andy's printing equipment to prospective clients.
UPM Digital Printing Technologies global director Kirit Naik said: “Together, we can offer our customers a wide range of label printing solutions that are not only high-quality and innovative, but also sustainable.”
Expanding the partnership's reach, UPM and Andy have also signed a second year of collaboration in Europe.
This agreement aims to enhance the delivery of label printing solutions within the European market.
The initial strategic partnership between the two companies was formed in 2019, focusing on the North American pressure-sensitive label market.
