Veritiv, a US-based packaging, facility solutions, and print products distributor, has acquired the Ameripac and Ameripac Pennsylvania businesses.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. It involves the purchase of substantially all AmeriPac assets.
The acquisition is a strategic addition to Veritiv's kitting and copacking platform, bringing expertise in complex packaging processes.
It also provides the flexibility to meet seasonal business demands and rapidly changing customer requirements.
Established in 1989, AmeriPac is a provider of turnkey contract packaging and fulfilment solutions.
With nearly 600 employees across locations in Grapevine and Dallas, Texas, and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, the company has been serving high-growth segments for over more than decades.
The AmeriPac business serves customers in a variety of high-growth segments, primarily driven by its strong customer base in the cosmetic and personal care industries.
The company's annual revenues are approximately $60m.
This acquisition comes after Veritiv acquired Vivabox Solutions, a US-headquartered premium marketing solutions provider, in February this year.
Veritiv CEO Sal Abbate said: “The acquisition of the AmeriPac business complements our recent acquisition of Vivabox Solutions and will further enhance Veritiv’s end-to-end kitting and copacking capabilities.
“This acquisition advances our effort to create a national platform combining our leadership in packaging distribution, commercial operations, automation, and design and testing, along with best-in-class value-added solutions in kitting, copacking, labelling, and fulfilment, to better serve customers.
“We look forward to welcoming AmeriPac's employees, customers, and suppliers to the Veritiv team as we further expand our position as a leading provider of packaging solutions and continue delivering innovative and sustainable products and services to our customers today - and into the future."
