The refurbished factory is the second structure in a two-building campus designed to serve clients across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Central America.
Located at 525 Jaycee Drive, the renovated building is strategically positioned near Interstate 81 and adjacent to the company’s existing headquarters.
The remodelled facility, spanning 118,000ft², complements the original headquarters that spans 165,000ft².
EAM-Mosca’s two-building campus boasts office space of more than 30,000ft², of which 15,000ft² is in the new building.
Its operational space now exceeds 250,000ft², allowing the company to expand its operations to meet increasing customer demand.
The expansion includes the introduction of the Machinery Center of Excellence, an initiative aimed at enhancing product development and offering customised solutions for end-of-line packaging equipment.
The new building also houses an advanced showroom, featuring EAM-Mosca’s range of packaging strappers and stretch wrappers.
The project, which began in June 2023 with a $9m investment, was completed in less than a year.
It forms part of a broader $20.6m strategic initiative to bolster EAM-Mosca’s economic presence in Pennsylvania.
The state has supported the expansion with a $250,000 Pennsylvania First grant.
EAM-Mosca CEO and president Christian Wiethuechter said: “This is not an isolated case. If we look at the last five years, we’ve invested more than $50m here in Pennsylvania actually to grow ourselves, to serve the market. But this is now a $20m strategic initiative that we’ve embarked on.”
EAM-Mosca has more than 350 employees in the Americas region and over 30,000 equipment installations.
