CREO Group, a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, has acquired HMS, a company specialising in packaging solutions and the manufacture of organisation products.

The acquisition is part of CREO’s growth strategy and broadens its product offerings, customer base, and geographic reach while reducing its environmental impact.

CREO aims to leverage its own expertise in reprocessed resin and sustainable materials to meet this goal.

HMS is known for producing plastic products for various household needs, including home storage, waste management, laundry, kitchen, and pet care.

HMS CEO Janet Sofy said: “I am excited to join CREO Group and work toward our mission of designing innovative products and a more sustainable future.

“CREO Group is a leader in sustainable manufacturing, and we are confident our combined strengths will enable us to achieve even greater success for our team and valued customers.”

Based in Florida, US, CREO is a vertically integrated producer of packaging solutions.

The company offers a range of capabilities, including blow moulding, pressure forming, injection moulding, and an in-house resin recycling platform.

CREO Group board executive chair and Mill Point executive partner Justin Smith said: “We welcome HMS to the CREO Group family. HMS has a long history of providing high-quality, innovative household solutions across home storage and organisation, waste, laundry, kitchen and pet categories.

“This acquisition strategically positions us for continued growth, broadens our capabilities and reinforces our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.”
