According to the terms of the acquisition, Mondi will acquire 100% stake in the company from Joint Stock Company Rusnano and a private investor.

The acquisition by the international packaging and paper group is expected to be closed by the end of the month.

Duni has signed an agreement to acquire a 60% stake in Thailand-based supplier of packaging disposable products, Terinex Siam Co., in a transaction that is expected to be completed by mid-August.

Duni will acquire 49% shares of Terinex Siam directly, while the remaining 11% will be acquired through a joint venture company.

Duni is a Swedish provider of convenience products for restaurants and take-aways.

The Liberation Group, a leading pub, restaurant and drinks business, will be acquired by Caledonia Investments from LGV Capital in a £118m ($155.27m) deal.

The transaction is subject to approval by the Channel Islands competition and regulatory authorities.

Under the terms of the acquisition, a cash investment of £70.6m ($92.9m) will be made by Caledonia, while the management team of Liberation will put forward £1.4m ($1.84m).

A bank debt of £51m ($67.11m) will be used to fund the remaining amount, with Caledonia agreeing to underwrite it if it is not furnished by the completion of the transaction.
