FlexLink has opened a new sales and engineering unit in South Africa to support the growing industrial production in South Africa and the Sub-Sahara region.
Industries in the African continent are rapidly developing and to support them and global customers FlexLink has opened a sales and engineering unit in Johannesburg. The new unit officially opened on 2 June.
FlexLink area director for Europe West, Middle East & Africa Serge Abou-Jaoudé said: "In addition to the direct support to the South African industries, our new unit will serve as a hub for the support of industries in the entire Sub-Sahara region where industrial production growth is particularly strong. This includes countries such as Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria."
Besides sales and engineering of new installations, the support of the aftermarket for the substantial number of installations with FlexLink technology will be in focus for the new unit. This will be done through technical support hubs in all major industrial regions.
Until now, FlexLink has been represented through partners in South Africa and the cooperation will continue in the same way as in all countries where FlexLink has its own representation.
FlexLink has operating units in 30 countries and partners in 60 countries.
