MOCON is launching the first headspace analyzer which measures carbon monoxide (CO) levels in modified and controlled-atmosphere, case-ready meat packages.

This gives meat processors monitoring CO levels, a reliable testing device to make sure they are in compliance with the FDA’s GRAS parameters.

The hand-held Pac Check Model 333 can also verify residual percentages of oxygen (O2) and/or carbon dioxide (CO2). The unit also incorporates a variety of user-friendly features.
