Detmold Flexibles is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Hetherton to the newly created position of national sales and marketing manager. John has extensive international and local experience in a wide variety of products and markets and his addition to the business will provide a driving force in the development of new business opportunities.
Detmold Flexibles has recently made significant investment in state-of-the-art gravure capabilities and extrusion lamination technology. Detmold Flexibles will now utilise this extended production capability to offer our current and new customers high-end packaging solutions not readily available in the marketplace.
John has recently returned from Dubai, where he worked as general manager for a flexible packaging company that was privately owned. Prior to that he was working for the Aperio Group in Australia after they have purchased the company Finewrap, where he was national sales and marketing manager.
John emigrated from the UK to Australia in 1996 to work for Amcor and headed one of the largest units for Amcor at Regent’s Park, Sydney. Prior to his arrival in Australia John had worked for large international packaging groups in Europe. He is married with three children and lives in Sydney.
