Ishida Europe has appointed Andreas Hollman as general manager of the company’s German subsidiary, Ishida GmbH.
Hollmann (45) brings wide experience of the German weighing and packaging industry and has held top management positions in the sector for several years, with active involvement in the packaging industry since 2003.
His appointment strengthens Ishida Europe’s European expansion strategy and also underlines its commitment to the important German food and packaging market.
Hollman, an engineering graduate, says he is looking forward to his challenging new role, commenting: "Ishida stands for tradition, a strong product portfolio and a strong brand.
"We will continue to expand our market position in the areas of multihead weighing, checkweighing and X-ray inspection as well as offering our customers bespoke solutions under one roof."
