The ColorMatrix Group will be showcasing its comprehensive range of liquid colorant and additive technologies, as well as fluoropolymer colour concentrates and compounds, at this year’s K show, which will be held 27 October – 3 November in Düsseldorf, Germany. Visitors can learn more about the company’s unique colour-matching capabilities, the latest solutions for improved performance in plastics, plus innovative technologies to help customers create greener, more socially-responsible products. K will also serve as a platform to present the ColorMatrix Group’s vibrant new brand identity, introduced to demonstrate its commitment to delivering a clear and consistent offering to customers, whatever their location.
As the leading global innovator in liquid colorants and additives for thermoplastic applications, ColorMatrix will present breakthrough technologies for enhanced performance. Excelite, an advanced liquid foaming agent, will feature on the stand. Developed for PVC foam sheet extrusion, Excelite reduces density and improves lightweighting for a better print finish, greater clarity and increased definition.
Other highlights will include a selection of PET additives and a pioneering fibre delustrant, which enhances the quality of PET fibre while improving processing efficiencies. And, for improving long-term recyclability of PET containers, new Optica PET resin toners and Joule RHB re-heat additives have been developed. These toners and reheat technologies enable manufacturers to achieve a number of other sustainability aims, including lower industrial energy costs and reduced colorant waste and inventory levels, as well as improving product aesthetics, even when using recycled resin.
Representatives from the Colorant Chromatics division will be showcasing a new range of reinforced fluoropolymer compounds, engineered for improved impact strength. This range still retains the high temperature, flame retardant, chemical resistance and electrical performance properties of other Colorant Chromatics fluoropolymer compounds.
At the show, ColorMatrix will demonstrate its latest colour-matching technology. This innovative system enables customers to select and order their colours online while ensuring accurate matching, clean, efficient dosing, and a rapid customer response time – thus facilitating quick market access.
The ColorMatrix Group operates from 16 locations worldwide and uses its expertise to develop advanced technologies which deliver maximum value to its key markets. The team will be available in hall 07a at stand D05 to discuss all these technologies and more.
