US-based Central Ink Corporation has signed agreements to further expand the company to markets outside of North America.
Central Ink Corporation, which until recently had never been interested in growing the company through mergers or acquisitions, has signed agreements to form a partnership with Rendic Graphics and purchased assets of C&W Pressroom Products (C&W) in an effort to take advantage of industry synergies and provide product diversification.
C&W, which is located in New Jersey, is a company that manufactures and sells pressroom products, other than ink, to the printing industry. Central Ink is in the process of setting up a new manufacturing facility just down the street on Hawthorne Lane in West Chicago, Il. This facility will replace C&W’s current New Jersey manufacturing site and will begin manufacturing products on 1 September.
These additional products will allow Central Ink a greater opportunity to increase its sales with new and current customers.
Mr Cecil Breen, Central Ink CEO Richard Breen’s father, opened the doors of what is now the Central Ink Corporation in 1933. Central Ink Corporation has survived and flourished as a stand-alone company focusing on organic growth since the doors opened.
