Self-adhesive label manufacturer Xpress Labels has ordered a PicoColour UV Inkjet Digital Label Press, manufactured and supplied by Dantex Group.
Xpress Labels is an innovative self-adhesive label manufacturing company based in, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, that prides itself on delivering exceptional quality labels to its customers.
The addition of the PicoColour Digital Label Press to the company’s existing flexo offering, scheduled for November, will mean that work which would usually need to be printed flexo can be produced digitally, expanding their capacity and growing their customer base.
Rob Bagley, commercial director at Xpress Labels, said: "We looked at other digital presses, but the PicoColour offers high print quality, as well as all the other features we were looking for and at the right price-point; for instance, one key driver for us was the inline die cutting on the PicoColour. We were offered a tailored package with no bolt-ons. It will suit the work that we do and will integrate well with our business."

Bagley continues: "The PicoColour’s ability to use any media was a particularly important factor in our decision making process; we can continue to use our current label stocks, which is a huge bonus. We will not need to buy a material coater or use specially coated materials so that we can use our new digital press. This will not only be more cost-effective, but will also save on space and will enable us to run more jobs, more quickly."
