For the new ERGON range of secondary packaging machines SMI has introduced innovative concepts in terms of ergonomics and modularity, which have allowed to further increase the packers' flexibility and considerably facilitate their management and maintenance operations. The new ERGON series – from the Greek word érgon meaning 'work' - is the outcome of a two-year R&D project wich led to notable enhancements concerning the technical configurations featuring SMI secondary packaging machines.
