Green Lab, a Singapore-based packaging manufacturer, has officially ventured into the US market to provide its sustainable packaging solutions across North America.

A subsidiary of the Frasers & Neave Group, Green Lab says its products comprise Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified, recycled paper bags, as well as a food packaging solution.

With a 200,000ft² production facility in Singapore, Green Lab supplies companies in retail, hospitality, and foodservice across Asia and other regions.

The company said that businesses in the US will benefit from its tailored solutions, which are designed to minimise environmental impact while maintaining high quality and functionality.

The company aims to lower its carbon footprint throughout the supply chain, assisting clients in enhancing their scope 3 emissions ratings.

Among its key sustainability initiatives are solar-powered facilities, local sourcing, and the use of sustainable materials in its solutions.

Green Lab’s automated production and established supply chain ensure monthly shipments to the US, backed by the US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.

Green Lab CEO Muralikrishnan Rangan said: “The US and Singapore share a robust trade relation, with many American companies headquartered in Singapore. Bilateral trade between the two countries now exceeds $122bn, reflecting deep economic ties.

“Green Lab has heavily invested in automation to enhance scalability, quality, and cost parity. With Singapore’s strategic location and strong shipping links, we offer reliable supply chain support. This makes us the ideal manufacturing hub for American businesses seeking sustainable packaging.”
