Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), a packaging and protective solutions provider, has introduced its new brand, Plastic Sheeting, designed to offer enhanced surface protection across various industries.
The product line includes high-performance films, boasting features such as high tear resistance and easy workability.
The newly launched plastic sheeting product is touted as transparent and clings to substrates for maintaining cleanliness and protecting surfaces.
The company said the sheeting is particularly useful during repairs and renovations to prevent overspray and other contaminants from affecting work areas.
IPG’s new plastic sheeting caters to a broad audience, including automotive collision centres, industrial paint contractors, DIY home renovators, and professionals in the transportation and marine sectors.
Customers can choose from a range of sizes to suit their specific needs, the company said.
IPG Industrial associate product manager Rachel Johnson said: “We are excited to introduce this high-performance plastic sheeting to our customers, helping to fully encompass our offerings in the automotive aftermarket.
“This product offers exceptional value and performance, providing a cost-effective solution for protecting valuable surfaces.”
IPG, based in Florida, US, provides protective solutions across a wide range of geographies and end markets.
In May 2024, the company launched its second virtual showroom, improving digital customer engagement in the packaging industry.
The showroom platform provided a 3D experience, allowing users to explore IPG’s packaging machinery in detail.
The solution was designed to give customers a 360-degree view of IPG’s advanced equipment from any device, offering insights into the features and functionality of the company’s machinery.
