Lecta, a Spanish producer of speciality papers for labels and flexible packaging, has introduced Linerset FP, a barrier paper crafted to address the increasing demand for sustainable packaging solutions.

The Linerset FP paper has been designed for converters and printers looking to integrate advanced barrier features into their packaging.

Lecta noted that the paper can be used as it is, due to its durable and flexible material.

The product is also claimed to offer a sustainable alternative to traditional multilayer packaging, enabling the shift towards fully recyclable options and supporting the growing push for environmental responsibility in the packaging sector.

Engineered for use in flexographic printing, Linerset FP is suitable for applications such as bags, pouches, and wrapping applications across food packaging, industrial packaging, and more.

Offered in a range of grammages, from 40g/m² to 78g/m², Linerset FP also adheres to regulatory requirements, ensuring that it is safe and dependable for use in various types of packaging.

Linerset FP is designed in accordance with various International Organization for Standardization and Eco-Management and Audit Scheme environmental criteria.

In February last year, Lecta expanded its Termax thermal paper line with the launch of two new grades, namely Termax TC20X and Termax TC20XB.
