The Oakdale Company, a private investment company based in the US, has acquired flexible packaging machinery manufacturer Century-Tech for an undisclosed amount.
Under the new ownership, Century-Tech will focus on developing products, increasing operations, and broadening its market presence.
In the near future, Century-Tech will pursue acquisitions to enhance its capabilities and expand its product range across North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa.
The company, specialising in plastic and biodegradable bag manufacturing machinery, aims to boost its research and development and drive product innovation by investing in next-generation packaging solutions, with the backing of The Oakdale Company.
Additionally, by integrating operational enhancements with acquisitions, Century-Tech intends to offer a suite of packaging machinery solutions to help film converters improve efficiency, reduce waste, and cater to both regulatory and consumer demands.
Century-Tech’s president Peter Terranova and vice-president Louis Mastrangelo will continue in their roles to maintain stability and continuity within the organisation.
The Oakdale Company will invest further in human resources to improve Century-Tech’s product offerings, plant operations, and service programmes, ensuring continuous service and support for global clients.
The Oakdale Company CEO Clinton Townsend said: “The Oakdale Company is committed to Century-Tech’s long-term success and growing the company to become a significant partner to the industry’s converting leaders.
“We see immense opportunity to expand Century-Tech’s market presence and product portfolio, and we are actively seeking additional acquisitions to complement and strengthen its offering.
“Our focus is on sustainable, strategic growth that benefits customers, employees, and the broader industry.”
